Exotic Weapons in Destiny 2 Season 18 – Destiny 2 fans, August is going to be a big month for you! Bungie has a lot of exciting things planned, including a reprised original Destiny 2 raid. Before all that happens, though, they’ve released some new information about changes coming to exotic weapons and certain weapon types. These changes include making exotic weapons more powerful and adding new perks to certain weapon types. So get ready for some big changes in Destiny 2 later this month!
Season 18 of Destiny 2 is almost upon us, and we’re eagerly anticipating all the new goodies it will bring. According to reports, the forthcoming season will include lots of great new features and content for players to enjoy. We’re especially excited about the new seasonal event; it sounds like it’s going to be a lot of fun!
Rework of Exotic Weapons in Destiny 2 Season 18
Destiny 2 New season will introduce a new system where players can pick an Exotic weapon to form the basis of their loadout. These weapons come with an intrinsic perk that is effective against Champions and includes some returning favorites from previous seasons as well as some new additions.
Gamers are already preordering the Day one raid completion boost for the Destiny 2 new season.
Bungie has stated that the goal is to create a better balance between weapons, and has made some changes to help ensure that everyone has a fair chance. Bungie will be giving Champions weapons, and some serious firepower by implementing a variety of unique intrinsic perks. So far, we know that each weapon will have its own perk, but here’s the full list of what’s in store for everyone:
Legend of Acrius
The Trench Barrel is set to receive a slight change in the next Destiny 2 update. While we’re unsure if it’ll be as significant as some other changes, Bungie is giving it a little boost when you have the Trench Barrel catalyst. Hopefully, this will be a positive change for Guardians everywhere.
Thunderlord
With the latest upgrade to machine guns and the upcoming changes in Season 3, Thunderlord is becoming a very attractive option again for both PvE and PvP. In addition, it’s very likely that we will see a Thunderlord Catalyst next season, which will only make this weapon more sought-after.
Wish-Ender
Wish-Ender will be receiving some updates in the near future, and among the most requested changes is that it will now have integral anti-Barrier characteristics. The draw time, on the other hand, will be severely reduced. These new changes should help Wish-Ender be a more consistent performer in PvE activities. Wish-Ender will now deal more damage with each strike and will be more effective against tougher enemies.
Le Monarque
Le Monarque has always been a popular PvE choice among Destiny 2 players, but it’s about to become even more desirable. Recently, Bungie announced that Le Monarque will be receiving a permanent buff that makes it an effective weapon against Overload champions. This seems to be substantial because Le Monarque’s lethal tricks frequently trigger a slew of different overwhelm preceptors on opponents, resulting in a stunning chain.
Lord of Wolves
Bungie wishes to modify this weapon in order to make it less effective in player-versus-player combat, but they want to make it stronger in player versus environment situations. This involves making the weapon do less damage per shot, but making each shot do more damage over time in PvE.
Collective Obligation
Bungie is working on making Collective Obligation more fluid in PvE. Void Leech now comes with a 15-second period and is more straightforward to charge. When Void Leech is active, you will also receive a 20% damage buff in PvE. When killing targets with debuffs, this instantly charges Void Leech. If your character has a void debuff, it will also contribute to charging Void Leech. Finally, there will be even more Void Leech, and it will be of higher quality.
Bungie has announced that scout rifles will be more effective against weaker opponents in PvE events. They also said that high auto rifles will be more consistent, compact bows will be able to land critical shots more quickly, and heavy grenade launchers will deal massive damage to powerful enemies. This effectively means that if you’re up against a lesser foe, make use of a scout rifle. If you’re up against something more powerful, a grenade launcher will help you to take it down.
